HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

EmCity Brows accepts clients by appointment only booked via the online scheduler. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

You may cancel or reschedule online up to 24 hours before your appointment. Late cancellations & no shows are charged 100% of services scheduled. If you need to cancel last minute please text promptly.

WHERE DO I PARK?

There is metered parking out front as well as FREE 2-hour parking on Acoma Street. Allow adequate time for parking & traffic during peak rush hours.

HOW CAN I PAY?

Payment by Cash is most appreciated.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO GET WAXED?

For optimum results, allow 2-4 weeks of growth after shaving. You may feel more sensitive to waxing just before or during your menstrual cycle, although it is perfectly safe to get waxed. Avoid waxing if you have recently had a chemical peel, laser treatment or sunburn.

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW BEFORE WAXING?

Please notify us of all sensitivities, allergies and current prescription medications. Cold sores, moles and broken skin cannot be waxed. Clients with reactive skin may experience a histamine reaction. These small bumps typically go away after a few hours. Taking an anti-histamine before waxing can be helpful.

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW AFTER WAXING?

For the first 24-48 hours you should avoid heat, friction, and fragrances. After 24 hours you can exfoliate gently several times a week. Keep your freshly waxed skin clean and smooth by moisturizing with organic jojoba oil or your favorite unscented lotion.
